We are pleased to launch a new version of our mobile roaming service using the latest mobile voice and data technology. As part of this upgrade we have decided, free of charge, to upgrade your Voice SIM card to the latest version.
You can collect your new SIM card at your nearest Seafarers outlet by simply producing your existing SIM card or we can mail one to you. For information on outlets around the world, please make contact by e-mail to peter@searoam.com
In the meantime you can continue to use your existing SIM card until March 31st.
Please ensure that you load enough credit to last you until March 31st as you will not be able to load any more credit online onto your old SIM from Thursday March 3rd. You may continue to use $ vouchers where available to purchase until March 29th.
Once you have collected your NEW SIM card you will need to swap it over. Simply go to www.swapsim.com, enter your OLD 19 digit SIM card number beginning with 8932 (your SIM number can be found on your OLD SIM card), then enter your NEW 19 digit SIM number beginning with 8942, this number can be found on your new SIM card.
Click "Swap SIM" and the transfer is complete.
If you do the SIM Swap before 31st March, all your credit will be transferred on the 31st March and if you have local numbers attached to your SIM these will be automatically forwarded and protected from the 31st March also. If you are unable to swap over until after the 31st March, don't panic, you will still be able to do this after this date and your credit and local numbers will be transferred immediately, but remember your old SIM will no longer be active.
From this point your balance will display in Euro and all top-up vouchers will also be in Euro currency. Your new SIM pack will contain an instruction leaflet showing the new codes to enter on your phone to add credit vouchers and to retrieve your balance.
Please note that for the new SIMs, you will need purchase new EURO credit vouchers.
Please note we have replaced your old +32 number with a new number that begins with +44 - this can be found on the back of your new SIM Pack.
Getting The Full SeaRoam Experience
- Go to www.SEAROAM.com and click on "Login". You can use the same username and password that you set up for your old SIM. Once logged in, you will see a list of options on the right of the screen. With SEAROAM you can:
- Add a local number - you can add a local landline number to your SIM card so you can stay in touch with your friends, family and colleagues for less.
- Display your current mobile number - simply go to Manage My Numbers when you have logged into your account and add your own mobile number. Now anyone you call will recognise your number.
- Auto top up - you can set a recharge amount on your account so you never run out of credit.
- Add Credit
- Check Your Bill - our real-time billing service enables you to check your balance at any time.
- Use Your Existing Number - Divert your existing mobile or landline number to your SEAROAM SIM.
